What We Do

School-based ABA
therapy in Houston
and Fort Worth.

Progress made everywhere else doesn't always follow a child through the school doors. School-based ABA closes that distance: a therapist works with your child during the school day itself, alongside their teachers and the IEP already in place. With school-based ABA across Houston, Fort Worth and surrounding communities, a board certified behavior analyst designs the program and stays responsible for it.

Why Here

Why families choose school-based ABA

School fills more of a child's week than a parent ever sees. In-school ABA therapy works on skills in the room where they're needed, as the day happens rather than after it.

Help where it is needed

Sessions happen during the school day, in the setting causing the trouble.

One approach, not two

Teachers and therapist work from the same plan and the same IEP goals.

Skills that transfer

What your child manages at school should hold at home, and the other way round.

A steady presence

Quiet, consistent support that fits into the classroom rather than interrupting it.

What in-school support involves

A therapist is present through the school day, working with your child in the classroom and coordinating with the staff around them. What that looks like hour to hour depends on your child’s goals and how that particular school runs its day.

→ Working in step with teachers and the IEP team
→ Progress that carries between school and home
→ Quiet, consistent support during the school day

Each plan is written for one child. It is applied behavior analysis, the same evidence base we use everywhere else, applied to the school day. Goals start from what your child already does well, and they are tracked against markers a parent can actually see changing.

Is school-based ABA the right fit?

Choosing a setting is a clinical decision rather than a ranking. Where the difficulties concentrate in the school day, support delivered there is often the most direct answer. Where they sit in morning routines or in play with other children, home, our Houston clinic, daycare or a small group may serve better - and some families use two at once.

Whether school-based support can be arranged depends on what your child’s school is able to accommodate. Tell us where they attend and we will look into it with you.

Where we work.

Our team travels to schools throughout the Houston and Fort Worth area. Families who come to us for school support often combine it with ABA therapy at home or at our Houston clinic in the northwest of the city, so the same goals are being worked on wherever your child happens to be that day.
